red alert 2
hi all, i have recently purchased red alert 2 and am very eager to back it up! But when i use the english cd-copy patch it doesnt work, i think the problem is in the program that you are supposed to use to patch one of the files, where i get an error message saying "access denied
duplicate file name or file in use" when i then burnt the cd anyway i get a message, when i press next to install the game sayin "please insert correct cd"!!! i see that someone further down the list has had the same problem but the reply is in german, any further help or translation of the german would be much appreciated, thanx!! |

It is very simple to fix this. Don't use the normal setup.exe. Put in the back-up copy of the allied cd. Open Windows Explorer and go to your cd-rom drive. Open the setup folder and click on the
setup_allied file, and the setup process will continue as normal. If you need any help email me. |
