Copying ChessMaster 8000

Hello folks,
I have been trying to dupe ChessMaster 8000
with a Plextor 32f scsi reader and an HP9100 IDE cdwriter. I am using the latest version of clonecd 2.8.3.1(paid for - register it!) and reading and burning at 1X for safety. All I keep burning coasters. I managed to dupe Sims Living Large, but CM8k is eluding me. Let me know if you have any advice.
