SILENT HILL 2 Problem --- Please help

I had a HK sliver of SILENT HILL 2. My Origa moded US V3 machine booted it fine, the movie is smooth and game plays fine........ However when I reach a save point, the screen just go red and freeze....

anyone have any idea?

1st maybe bad silver
2nd maybe origa has probs with this game
