Grrrr. Nolf still won't play

I'm getting so close now. When i update the version using patch 1 and adding the crack by Oregon NOLF will load up and I can get through all the options and stuff. Get as far as start mission, click on it and it goes to the loading screen. That's as far as it goes. Stays on the loading screen. The colours continue to change in the loading letters and the pc doesn't lock up, but no HDD access is occurring and it doesn't start ht egame. Help pls!! I tried reinstalling the game from scratch again too.

Have you tried using CloneCD or BlindSuite? One of them should work for you. By utilizing one of them you can take all your patches and cracks and put them in your recycle bin
A 1:1 copy is always what you should stive for!!

This is not a problem of your copy!
Its a problem many gamers (even the ones with ORIGINALS) have.
The game gets stuck in a loading screen somewhere and all you can do is finishing the game and leaving it to desktop...
I tried everything possible to get it running, but I think we will have to wait for a patch to fix that bug.
Try getting a few tips at the forum at nolfnews.com.
Good luck!!

p.s.: If you succeed-let me know your trick!!!

This sound like graphic card problems! Have you upgraded recently your drivers or have you installed directX 8? Switch again to older drivers or to directX 7.0a.If you get it to work please let me know.
P.S.:I had exactly the same problems with my Voodoo3 and Colin McRae 2
