playing original imported NTSC-usa Metal Gear Solid 2 and Final Fantasy X on a pal PS2

Just bought those two suberb (and original) games on the US and couldn't play them on my Neo 2.2 chipped Pal PS2. Anyway, does Origa really fix this problem(for sure)? If so, is it compatible with all type of boards on pal ps2? Believe it or not, I just want to play originals(imported and pal) :P Oh right. Can you tell me where to find an Origa pal chip (1.12 i believe), cuz lik-sang doesn't have them at the time. Thanks for your attention.

the origa is the ONLY available chip that lets you play imports (messiah doesn't count anymore). you also need a DVD Region X to swap with.

check www.origachip.com for all the info and diagrams you need.

on the PAL ps2, they need a single swap with a dvd region X.
there's gonna be an addon chip soon (5 wires), that will allow the origa to boot originals on ps2 without swap too.
