Argh, Which mod chip with what?..

Hi,
i need help on a modchip and the action replay. I have a version 30002R which i have been told is a version 5. I am very keen on the neo 2.5 (dvdr version), however it says on the lik-sang site that i can only use action replay2 v1.7 or 1.9 However, i have also read the forums abt how i cant use a action replay2 v1.9 on my playstation coz its a version 5. So is it possible to use an action replay of v2.02 for the neo 2.5 for a version 5 ps2? if not, what version gamesharks would i be able to use?

I earnestly advise you to wait for the MESSIAH/Clone situation to stabilise and then go for that solution.
