Screen Freeze won't run backups

Installed my stealth mod Chip in a SCPH-900x....no probs. But when I try to play a game the screen freezes.....x Playstation x...is all I see. Regular PSX games play fine...what happened?

what program are u using to make your back ups. if ur burner is 100%compatiable use clonecd or cdrwin. try reading at 8x and burning at 4x, speed kills.

IM using CDRwin....I also burned it at 1x & 2x. I can read the unconverted bin files with my PC PSX Emulation program...perfect. All of them play on the emulator!!

Thats exactly what i see too.

I am using CDRWIN4.0A. According to goldenhawk both my CDROM and Writer are compatible, but i don't know whats wrong when i tried to backup my Legend of Mana.
