help with loading spyro3

I just got spyro3 and tried to play the original on my psx but keep getting a message saying "Software terminated ..." Yes, I do have a modchip but I've had it for a couple of years and all of my games still work with no problems at all. This is the only one that I've ever got this message with. Anyone know why I'm getting this and what to do about it?? Thanks in advance for any help!!

I'm guessing your NTSC m8, (not in europe) in which case the game has anti-mod protection on it, and that's why it's doing what it's doing. As far as I know there is no way around this, Patch wise! Unless somebody else can give you some help your stuck!

if its the NTSC the patch does work if its the PAL game there is NO WORKING PATCH http://gamefreax.webskyline.de/kk/kool/files/pdx-s3uf.zip this is for the patch for the NTSC only

As backitup mentioned, there is no working patch for the PAL version!

If you are euro pal based then the only way of making a backup of this game is to use CloneCD, but not all burners are compatible with it!
