Newbie to Backing Up

Hello all. As stated in the topic, Im new to backing up my games. I'd like to know what is needed in order to make backups of PSX games? PS2 games? Or, if someone could just point me to a specific link on such information. Thanks for your time, and info fellas.

1st you need a burner (1 which is 100% compatible with cd clone which i would get)
2nd writing software cd clone (if you got a burner which is compatible) or cdrwin or both
3rd ppf-o-matic this works with cdrwin its for patching the protected games (but with cd clone you do not need to patch the games unless its mod chip protected)
4th a psx or ps2 which as been mod chip (its the best way) or a plug in mod chip or a boot disc
5th a lot of reading up megagames.com will help or do a search on here for deano he too as a site which will help you too
