Prefered CD write software???

I have read many topics on this board and would like to hear what people say their favorite CD write software is and why. I have a Plextor 16/10/40 drive that came with Easy CD Creator 4 but was planning to use CloneCD for back ups. I have seen a lot of people us CDWin and something like NERO?

I assume each may have its benifits and would like to hear from anyone who wants to write. This would be a good place ot put the PRO's and CON's of each (I know this information is probably here somewhere but couldn't find it all spelled out in one spot).

Also, if anyone knows of any conflicts of having more than one of these installed and perhaps using differant ones for differant things I would like to hear about that also.

I am primarily interested in backing up PSX and PS2 games at this point in time, but I am also interested in backing up some computer games also.

Thanks,

WAKIM

PS-How do you attach a file to a post?

Hi mate,
I am by no means an expert (as you will probably spot) but I have made over 40 working backups and feel I know enough to help you...

CDRWin from Goldenhawk is cool 'cos as far as I know its the only S/W apart from Fireburner that allows you to add patches to the .bin file (correct me if I am wrong guys), these patches can be used to fix protection issues etc. Although you should only backup games you own , okay ... Clone CD is good 'cos it does exact copies of the PSX discs. The only thing about Clone CD is that only works correctly with certain hardware combinations but if your hardware meets the specifications in cannot be beaten. If anyone spots a mistake here please correct me as I am still learning myself by thought I would try and help as I know how frustrating it can be making all those coasters.
