Modchip Questions

Which is the best one? (neokey, neo2,etc.)
How difficult is the installation (Could I do it or should I get an electrician)?
If a chip is installed do games have to be patched?
Where is the best place to purchase the chips in the US? (Do any stores have them or are they just online)?
What is the best site for diagrams?

Thanks for your help!

Much debate on this point. Try two sites to help you make your choice:

www.modchip.com
www.playstationmods.com

Purchasers of each will say theirs was the best choice. So far as I can see, it's as broad as it's long. I use modchip.com's solution on a Jap PS2. When you've decided, get the modchip installed by a competent electronics expert who is used to small soldering tips.

Depends on the modchip you select. The web sites I mentioned tell you all.
