an old PSX trick question

does anyone remember how ta do the switch playstation game trick? ya knoe the one when u take the burned game, and keep switchin it with a real game? i forgot cuz its been a while.

method 1
Turn on the psx w/o a game in it.
When you get to the memory card/cd player screen, insert an original psx game.
Select cd player.
Put some tape on the bttn under the peg in the back of the psx hood.
When the disc stops, put the bootleg copy in.
Exit

method 2
Put some tape on the bttn under the peg in the back of the psx hood.
put an original game in
turn the psx on.
quickly when the game slows down, hold the motor down and switch the real copy for the bootleg.

method 3 (###ne and models w/o i/o port)
Put some tape on the bttn under the peg in the back of the psx hood.
put an original game in
turn the psx on.
quickly when the game slows down, hold the motor down and switch the real copy for the bootleg.
When the bootleg slows down, hold the motor and switch it w/ the original. RIGHT when the original loads switch it w/ the bootleg.
