PS2 Backup help

Hey guys im a newbie at this. So i wanted to know what do i need to do to copy a game for the ps2 and what do i need?

This reply is from my perspective, which is JAP PS2. Also, you should read this forum and obtain advice from playstaionmods.com and megagames.com; first read mod-chip description relevant to your PS2 - you may not have to patch the game if u have a PAL PS2:
1 Have your PS2 mod-chipped to achieve the swap trick (see this forum)
2 Assuming u have a PC with a CD reader and a CD Writer, download CDR-WIN
3 From megagames.com, download a ppf patcher and ppf patches for PAL games of interest
4 With CDR-WIN, copy the original PAL game to hard disk
5 With the PPF Patcher, patch the disk image created at step 4 (if PS2 is NTSC)
6 With CDR-WIN burn the disk back to CD
7 Follow boot instructions that came with the mod chip
