CD copy speed
Hi, i am kind of new to copying CDs, i only got my burner about 3 weeks ago. I was just wondering if it is better to copy a cd at the slowest speed? My CD burner is capable of a write speed of 4x.
I am not 100% sure what it is...all i know is it is a 32x Hewlett Packard Plus, it is 32x reading and 4x writing (maximum). But does it copy better or something if you write at a slower speed? |

yes the slower you writer the better the copy write at x2 or x4 plus the is less chance of buffer unrun you will be better at writing at x2 half the max speed i say x2 because x1 will take along time

I have used an HP for years and is my third burner after i managed to kill a Mitsumi and a Memorex drive. I have found that the HP is far more stable than the other machines, writes to almost any media and gives a excellant backup everytime when writing at 2x.
