What about black CD-R?

Hi,
I bought some totally black CD which are supposed to be readable by PS2 without any chip.
My saving attempts failed.

Is there anybody here who already tried them?

i have some totally purple megadata cdr that still dosent mean that you can play ps2 games with out a mod chip

Somebody lied to you.
They may look nice but almost 100% of them are crap anyway.

Black cdr's, well normally i'd say that they are not worth the money that you pay for them but as you already have some then i suppose you could use them for.... coasters....... mini frisby's......large tiddlywinks....

Honestly dont bother with them for PSX backups, keep them by for any other data but write slow!

You will always need a mod of somekind for the PSX either internal or external so yes somebody lied to you!

purple megadata cdr`s work great on psx/ps2 at x12 they look cool aswell
