Is this a CDRWIN problem? Please help.
I am trying to backup Pal game "98" using cdrwin.
The copy progress stalls at 37% complete, then we get the message ..."error. unable to read data sectors 110457 to 110483 on device 0:1:0 illegal command request (04h 00h 02h 05h 64h 00h)" I think the problem is because in the track selection field of Cdrwin, there is a green dot (mode 2?) and also red dot (audio mode?) and the software cant copy both modes at the same time. Am I right? What is the work around? Would appreciate any assistance. Thanks Please can someone help me |

the same thing happened to me with ready 2 rumble - i used Blindread with the multiple gaps option enabled - the game seems to work fine - give it a try
also if you used an illegal serial to unlock CDRwin it can cause problems |

The problem your having sounds like a bad oriiginal, probably scratched or dirty.
If you copy with blindread it wont stall at the bad sector but insert zero's instead but as no psx games have zero's in then you wont get a good copy. Try cleaning the disc, this may help. Alternativly it may be the drive your trying to read it with not being able to read multimode discs. If your using a cdrom drive to read then try your writer instead, if you still get the same problem then its the game not the drive. Hope you get it sorted.

spooky is right ,If cdrwin tells you error, unable to read data sectors you have a damaged or dirty game. Try copying from a different original
