Two of my friends have ###nes the new ones that are smaller. I've been burning DC stuff and have some experience with the boot disk on that system but I heard there's a boot disk for the ###ne and I was wondering where I can get it and if it works the same as the DC one. They don't wanna chip their systems so i'm just wondering if I can play backed games on an unmodded PS. Thanks...

Thats a no go i'm afraid, ths ###ne still needs an internal mod chip installed.

The idea behind the ###ne boot disk is to allow you to play imports because the ###ne has a single region bios, where as the older PSX's had a multi region bios.

No mod chip, no point.
