my psx copies keep skipping (music, fmv's)
I've been trying to make copies of psx games but they keep skipping (for FMV's, music, etc.). I have an HP CD-Writer Plus 8100 and I've tried many different programs. Are there any copying programs that will burn the game without it skipping?
Also, I've been using Memorex CD-R discs. Thanks. |

I'm no expert (hence the name) but I had simular problems when reading from my old CD drive. It was an old 8 speed and apparently didn't support audio extraction. If you make an image file first then copy that image this should get around this problem.

When I started making backups of my games I used gold Kodax disks.
My PSX was the 1st model and it packed in after a while. So I bought a new PSX (7502) and the gold disks would skip etc on the new machine. I copied my backups to a different colour CD and have worked fine ever since, even the ones copied from the gold CD's. So the CD media may be the fault. |
