TO RESOLVE THE v5 QUESTION

Please would you supply by reply the following info so that we can determine the characteristics of a v5 machine:

Here is an example:

Model # = 30001R
Serial (chars 1&2) = U6
Date Code (if present) = 1C
Known PS2 version )if you know it)
Suspected version =4
Driver version (from System Configuration)
Number of screws on the base
Is there a screw in the expansion bay?

PAL/JAP/US/EUR/AUSTRALIA - all models are requested.

I think this combination will lead to a definitive picture.

Thanks

guy's, it's simple, remove the cover to the expansion bay on a 30001r, if you only have 2 screws then its a v4, 3 screws it's a v5.
