CDRWin unable to read my disc.....Help!
I am unable to backup my Driver2 with CDRWin as it cannot get past the analysing disc stage.
What is causing this? Could it be too damaged? |

Sounds like its buggered, is it scratched????
Try slowing the read speed right down and re-booting the PC sometimes helps too, also try reading it from another Drive, failing that go to your local rental shop and hire it out again <G> |

If its a cdr then no not really, you can buy a paste form of cleaner that polishes out the scratches but its a lot of effort and only works 50% of the time then, you could also try reading the disc with another copying program, Driver 2 isnt protected so most of them will work

(psst ... i'll probably get a bollocking for telling u this but change the 'error recovery' setting to 'replace' and your game should burn, but be warned, it'll probably be of crap quality (if its that nackered u'll be lucky if it will work at all) since although the backup copy won't have physical scratches it will, in theory, it will be be mentally scarred
![]() --- But this is a bad way of copyinging and u shouldn't really listen to bad people like me, but at the end of the day, u probably will 8) ) l8er, 4nim4l. |
