I have this sony writer and it can read and write sub channel data and audio tracks. If I use Clone CD and copy it, will it work/boot then.
Does anyone know?I like CDRWIN best but since there is no patch why not try Clone CD then... Need an answer as soon as posible. |

I have waited for someone that can understand this and you are the one. Yes you can burn ff9 with clone cd but you got to read from your burner and then write it and the copy will work perfectly if you burn at 2x speed. So copy and have fun with the game. |

Actually, this only works if your writer will write / read subchannell data. But, the important thing is that it has to write subchannel data uncorrected. If you do not get the option in clonecd to write with subcodes unchanged / corrected then your writer does not support it. I do not know anything about this sony writer, but have used a plexwriter 16/10/40a to burn a copy with no problems. You can read / write at any speed, as long as you don't get buffer underruns - i recommend about 10 speed. Also, stick to good media - it's well worth it.
