cdr- media
I am having a problem with running ps2 backups, beginning to think it is the media, what would anyone recommend for a cdr

As Im sure many others would suggest, Verbatim have to be the most suitable (& the most reliable disks) on the market for PS1 & PS2 backups. Search Charlies posts for technical data on why this is (I don't pretend to understand most of it) but the fact is a backup done on a Verbatim will load quicker & with less accessing than one done on a cheap silver or green CDR. (Ive tried this with 3 or 4 different backups & it is FACT).

I have had many people say when loading PS2 backups on Verbatim cdr's its faster and someone even told me quieter

Verabtim Datalife: Burn at 4x is very good (short write strategy)
Verbatim Datalife plus: Burn at 2x or 1x for best results Verbatim AZO: Ditto (Long write strategy) You'll habve to search my recent posts for the story. |
