How do I copy multi-disc games, including patching?

I posted this question before, but seeing as I haven't gotten any replies to it in the past few days, I'm gonna try again...

I would like to copy Legend of Dragoon NTSC (4 discs), but unfortunately, I haven't had any success burning multi-disc games in the past and I don't want to squander my short supply of CDs. I have the patch/trainer and I use CDRWIN. I just basically need someone to tell me how to successfully burn all the discs so they ALL work (I had a disaster with GTA: Director's Cut a while ago) and how to apply the patch.

Again, any help would be immensely appreciated.

Right now it looks like I have PPF 2.0. Is that even the software to apply the patch? I've just been blindly going off programs I see on the site here and that's what I'm seeing in my download dir. I think I used it to patch Sydney 2000 a while back...although, we all know how well THAT damned game patches. Ick.

Should I get Patch-O-Matic for ease of use?

BOT is on a distinguished road
When you download a patch there is usually a file packaged with it that has the extension .nfo.
This stands for 'i-NFO-rmation' file.
If you read it all the instructions shpould be there.

PPF 2.0 is the program, one of the files is called PATCH O MATIC click on that and it will bring up the window you need to patch the the BIN file with.

just enter the (patch).pff file you downloaded and click apply, if it's the right patch it will go through.
