How do I "backup" Silent Scope

I am having difficulty backing up ps2 games. I have a Neo 2.2 modchip
and have used backups before so know how to boot them. When I try to boot my copy of silent scope using Action Replay 2 it doesn't boot and stays on the loading game ar2 screen. I tried patching the game using the UK patch from Megagames and patching with PPF-O-Matic. I burnt the CD using CDRWIN 4.0 Beta.
Can someone give me a step-by-step guide including what patch to use how to patch it where to get the patch what to patch with and how to burn as I am not sure where I am going wrong. Thanks Sim.
If possible can you email the step-by-step to [email protected] as I check me emails more frequently than this board.

HI,

Do you know if your Writer is Compatible with CLONE CD??? if it is download the trail version you wont have to patch to play PS2 backups.

Also Have you tried getting the patch from another source??

Have you changed media for this backup?? burn speed??? anything different from your usual style of backing up?? the slightest change could make things go a little pete tong

Cheers

Hi,

Okay so if you have not had one sucessfull backup, then it must be something with your set-up, is your writer 100% compatible with CDR-Win??? What media are you using??? Is it the full version of CDR-Win or DEMO??

Dont mean to be an a*se but is it a legal full licensed version?? Dodgey cracks of CDR-Win or CLONE CD will just burn coasters after coasters.

Cheers

I have a Yamaha CD Writer and make perfect copies with CDR-WIN; legal of course and I think that may well be the point. Use default settings.
