Unable to get a good PSX copy

I copy a PSX game and use a patch but when I play it, I get a double image on the screen. What in the hell am I doing wrong here??????

Am using CDRWIN and leaving all settings on default and making sure that the RAW option is selected. I also have a demo copy of nero but have not attempted to use it. I got my PSX copy instructions for CDRWIN from www.geocities.com/tugless. Like I said previously, I get a picture on screen from the copied game but it is a roliing double picture. I am using a RICOH burner if that is any help. Thanks for the reply and any further help you can provide.

Tried to burn again (Tony Hawk 2) My other burned playstation games still work (the ones without copy protection I.E Army Men World War still work fine.) but any ones I try to burn now give me a rolling black and white screen with a double picture. Any help would be appreciated, I need to copy some games for my kids for xmas and I cant afford to pay $40.00 per game, it would break me. Thanx.
