PS2 Backup Question.....

Just want to know, if anyone knows, if I make a 1:1 copy of a PS2 game using CloneCD and a Sony CRX-175E Burner to burn the image to a blank CD, will the game run perfectly in a PS2 console??? I don't have a PS2 yet, but intend getting one soon.. I know I require a Mod-chip... which one should I get and where?? I'm in Australia, so don't know where to get them here....

So, with a mod chipped PS2 and CloneCD created backup PS2 game, will it run fine???

As long as your burner is 100% compatable with the software, you have a modchip and a gameshark2,ar2 or regionx to boot the backups they should run fine.
