need help

today i bought a ricoh cd writer with nero 5.0.
but there´s a big problem.
what do i have to to to copy psx games?
i copied one game but it didn´t work. when i put it in my ps there´s something like "insert a playstation cd" on the screen.
i hope you can help me. and last but not least excuse my bad english.

first.. i know a lot of you like nero, but i can't stand it so get yourself another program like cdrwin or fireburner, also make sure you are not using some cheap as cds, because the psx is pretty picky when it comes to that, it also depends on which system you have. i have found that the 7501 reads more cds media than the others.....and the most important thing you need is a mod chip, you didn't say if you had one or not.

I think i have one.
I bought my psx from a friend and he said, that ther´s a chip in it.
But i´m not sure. How can i find out it?
