ok g here is the deal that guy told you to try a dvd writer because here is what you do look on the bottom of box or on cd, if it says dvd rom then it is too big for a cd it cannot i repeat cannot be burned onto a cd the only way is if you put the game on your hard drive then rip it which was the only way before which means you had to take out files so that it would fit unto a cd and also in some cases patch it then it was able to be put onto a cd but it was missing either movies or music tracks etc.
not really great but you were able to play the game.
now here is the peferred method.
save your money or if you have enough go to the store buy a pioneer a03 dvd rewriter or if you see one like mine a que brand dvd you buy it install then after you have done that write me back i will then tell you where to get primo program which is a 1:1 dvd r program like clonecd then you start making backups and you are happy.
there is the explanation you can only make 1:1 if iut says cd on the box but if it says dvd then you need the other stuff i told you.
