Hey guys,

I try burning it and it looks like everything works, but it won't play in my DC, it just takes me to the music screen, any ideas?

I am using DJ3 and burning on an HP8100, please help me, this is so frustrating!

Ive had no problems. Have you played other backups ok?

Is it the Echelon release? There are dozens of possibilities. It could be a bad rip, incorrect file size, or your DC might be a post 10/2000

I have played all my other burns, and the person i got this from says his version works perfectly, its the echelon release

Sounds like a file size issue. Make sure all of the files are identically sized. Make sure nothing is corrupt.

Burn on a slower setting and use better media...

If it still doesn't work, I would re-download.

I've checked all the files, and the guy I got it from said it worked for him, and I have gotten a ton of games from him, and all have worked, I have burned it at 1x 2x and 4x on my burner and still nothing...and ive never had trouble with thses cds before

Are you burning it on a cd-rw or cd-r? I also had no problems with the nfl 2k2 it works fine on my dc. OH one more thing it could be possible that you c-rs are to thin, if so the dc laser might go right throught them. Try putting a cd label on the cd. It might work. I've put a cd label on a thin cd-r and burnt jet grind radio and it worked. Well i hope i helped you out. PEACE!

Ahh the only thing worse than a dumb newbie, is a dumb newbie trying to help others. Your suggestions are some of the most ridiculous crap I have ever heard.

The game isn't working on his DC because Echelon did a bad job of hacking the ip.bin file in NFL and WSB2k2, not because he confused a cdr for a cdrw and definetely not because of media that is "so thin the dc laser goes right through it".
You friggin moron if you cant say anything that makes even the least bit of sense you should stop posting your retarded methods and take the time to read over the board.

As for cheerio, there is a way of fixing that problem but you'll have to extract from the cdi (or w/e file you burned from) and likely change some stuff around in the ip.bin file. Unfortunately I do not have much knowledge about re-hacking as the game worked flawlessly on my machine but many people have reported problems with those two releases. I suggest that you search around the board or read the tutorials at :
