Neo 2.2, 3.0 & 4.0

Currently I see the Neo 2.2 chip available. However, on the website it says 3.0 is coming soon. Does anyone know how soon is soon? Also, I've seen in this forum a post that spoke about Neo 4.0 modchip. When is this expected out?

Neo 4, the first no swap mod chip, is supposed to be released sometime in august 2001....Hurray, it's about time.

Hey Warlock: What do you mean no swapping?
Do you mean no more Gameshark PSX 2 disc required?

That's right EZ CD. No Gameshark or AR2 needed. This is what neo 4 does at the moment........ PSX Backups No Swap
PSX Import Originals No Swap
PSX Silvers No Swap
PS2 CDR Backups No Swap
PS2 DVDR Backups (With swap at the moment but still under development)
PS2 DVD Silvers (With swap at the moment but still under development)
PS2 Import Originals (Under Development but doubt it will be included in NEO4)
Macrovision Copy Protection Disabled
DVD Multiregion for all models will be a separate add-on modulebackups.

dat would be cool!
but will it support the older ps2's???
i mean the scph 10000 and 15000
or only the new ps2's like the jap scph 30000
or us 30001-30004 ???
hope they include jap models or else im stuck!

Warlock: What about the Anti-Mod protection on PSX 1 games? Will people still need GS2 to bypass the protection using the code?
Or is it autobuilt in as well?
