OK just some newbie questions.... Cont
Sorry to do this but it wont let me reply for somereason
Anyway I downloaded a game and extracted it. It turned out to be a CDRWIN/FIREBURNER image. I have burnt this to disk and it does nothing. It tries to read from the disk but fails. This also happens with Utopia Boot Disk. I am thinking its just the cheap CDs. Secondly can I copy backup disks? So can I create an image of backup CD and burn it off to have another working version? |

Your post was going quite well till you asked 'can i copy backup disks?' Let's think about this you've downloaded a game and burned it onto a CDR, stuck it in the DC and played away to your hearts content and deleted the original files (fair enough), now does the fact that your burner has already produced 1 working copy not tell you something ?

Ok its me housemuzic
Wouldnt let me signup saying that my usersname had been taken. Guess they messed up. Anyway... I still havent yet burned a successful CD yet. DJ seems to crash on my Win2000 machine so Im gonna reinstall windows 98 at the weekend. I was asking this becuase if a mate wants a copy of the game can I copy my version? And Ill tell you the version number when I get home. Its an old one I think cause its second hand and has the expensive price tag still on it! |
