Hi,

US or PAL backups just burn burn burn no patches needed to make your backups if your using clonecd.

I have not had to patch 1 ps2 game yet and have quite a few backups, but like charlie says in his post below the cloncd method did not work for his winning eleven game. So most games can be backed up without patches useing clonecd

Cheers

Dal

Not so sure that is entirely true in all cases. In the particular case of a Jap PS2 and Winning Eleven 5, with modchip.com mod chip and PS2 Utility Disk for booting, the CloneCD method doesn't work unless it is booted first with the original game (of course). To make it work as a backup only, I had to patch it with the Universal Patcher (by Paradox from Megagames.com) and that meant using CDR-WIN to stage the BIN file.
