Newbie here plez come and answer plez!

I m going to buy and install the neo4 to my US PS2

there are some question.

If a PS2 game which is CD, Can I burn it and sucessful playing with neo4? of course i knew that EA needs patch... but how about the other game? are they protected? what website can i get that kind of info?

I have the TEAC 532S, TEAC55S and 56S-400 which are good to burn CD with DJ. But can they burn the PS2 game (CD) without using any crack? and I have an HP 9100 also... which is good with Clone CD...

I search on the net and i can't find the information about which CD burner is good to backup the PS2 games. Can someone tell me more about that? charlie?

ANSWER: NEO4 is still vapour so far as I can see. There are three websites that tell what patches exist for what games and from the type of patch you can see whether or not the games is protected. Remember also that if you use CloneCD (with subchannel burner support), you carry the protection across to the backup. The websites are:
http://www.sgt-dan.com
http://www.ps2ownz.com
http://www.megagames.com

ANSWER: I have no TEAC experience. I'd say stick with the HP 9100. The RAW+16 restriction on the TEAC means that it can't handle protected games.

ANSWER: If not the HP 9100, then Yamaha 2100 or 2200. There are others (Sony drives in particular that are compatible with bothe CloneCD and CDRWin - or indeed any drive in the CloneCD list that is compatible with CDRWin AND supports RAW+96).

ANSWER:
Reading: Check the following boxes
Read Subchannel Data
Read Subchannel Audio
Abort on Read Error

Burning: Select the following:
4x Speed (don't burn faster than this, slower is fine)
RAW DAO Write Mode
Always Close Last Session

ANSWER: Correct to the best of my knowledge, even some EA games (try it for EA Games - what's a coaster cost?)
