hmm..
I have downlaoded all the cracks.. but every time when I press "a to crack" in the program...the program just dissapears and nothing happends.. any help?... I`m like the biggest n00b by the way so talk simple to me :P Last edited by Dreadchill; 11-02-2006 at 03:56.

Help PLZ
I just got a back up copy from a friend because i playstion copy was damaged and the seconed disk did not work.
But any ways my problem is that he gave them to me a iso and when i run them in a vertual cd drive it lets me install the game but as soon i go to play the game and i ases to in sert cd one it keeps saying wrong disk. I hav also tryed to 8 diferent patches but none of them seem to work any help would be nice.

You don't have the original CD/DVD, so the copy you currently have is warez and you're not eligible for support on this forum! Contact the publisher for a replacement.

FF8 MULTIPLE PROBLEMS Plz help

I cant send you PM because the text size is too big please help me i will send you pm message about this  Hi i just have downloaded the Final Fantasy 8 last week and is in english. I run the setup from install disk and the setup wizard show up i follow the steps and finally the setup completed successfully i run the game runs perfect?>but when the time for the first cd came i put it on dvd-record drive and i click the w,c or x keyboard button then following message appears  ! <<WRONG DISC>> CAUTION I burn the files from the folder Disc 1 into a cd-rw 700 I insert the disc 1 when ask for the first disc i click multiple/different times the w,x,c keyboard buttons but i have the same result wrong disc caution ! the fault is the cd-rw?? i need a regular cd?? I have read an old post of yours and you said then, you have the cracks and the patches that need and propably help for further/future problems solution,and help about how i can get the game works did you still have them please help me if you did I have a difficulty to write in English but i understand completelly English(almost) not be afraid to write me. I hope to help MY SYSTEM CHARACTERISTICS IS 4 Final Intel Pentium 4 with HT Technology 515 (2.93 GHz-1MB SLC) Windows XP Home Edition (32-bit) Greek SP2 DirectX 9.0c 1024 RAM SB Audigy 4 nVidia GF 6600 PCIe 256 MB in Final Fantasy 8 Configuration (FF8Config) in Graphics tab there is the "Required 3D Features for Direct 3D" i pass all of them but i don't pass one "8-bit Paletted Textures Fail" i need a new graphic card?or is a function of old graphics cards? to see the FF8Config window i must reboot my machine because the first time i click on the icon the black screen that appers normally for a few seconds every time i click on the icon to see the settings this time stay permanently untill i reboot my machine this problem appear after overwrited the files in Final Fantasy viii directory in program files from the files in "FF8SqeaNVPatch" zip folder i have read the game for those who has nVidia cards there will be a textel problem i also know there two pathes but the one, those for non nVidia users fixes all the problems in the game and the other fixes only a textel problem. NoCD Solution
I uploaded nocd patch to http://fileforums.com/$rd_gf.php?p=ff8.htm.
I was uploaded patch to GameCopyWorld but this patch ended there (http://fileforums.com/$rd_gf.php?p=ff8.htm)  Download nocd from http://fileforums.com/$rd_gf.php?p=ff8.htm named "Final Fantasy 8 v1.2/GeForce [15 KB] NoCD Patch" or "Final Fantasy 8 v1.2 [15 KB] NoCD Patch". Or maybe better solution is to make image files of CD1,CD2,CD3,CD4 and in your virtual menager put them on the hotkeys. For example put CD1 image file on F5 hotkey, CD2 on F6, CD3 on F7, CD4 on F8. ok, to all people... This is how to play the game using the CRACK/NO CD/Fixed EXE...
Make an installation of the game... Patch the game Copy the crack file IF YOU WANT TO JUST PLAY THE GAME IN THE HARD DRIVE, U NEED TO COPY CD2/CD3/CD4/CD5 TO THE GAME DIRECTORY.... YOU CANNOT COPY CD3 WHILE CD2 IS IN THE GAME DIRECTORY... AS IT HAS THE SAME GAME NAME FILE. I Suggest making an image and just mount it. This thread is a very very old one  geez... people still play this game... i havent even finished this one... as I moved on to FFX in PS2 -- Linson Chan linsonchan Linson Chan 09198774095

BTW... As I am sure the Admin has already said, Don't just DL the game... Get a proper copy! (Though I know through experience that this is ULTIMATLY HARD now!). Too many people just use rips...
PLEASE! Don't support Piracy! Always get the original games if you really ENJOY THEM! BUY THEM!

Hi a few days ago, my game comes to me final fantasy 8, great I loved it on ps1 i donīt play it to the end...
now i have it but.. After i get it from ebay, i want to install it. So i put my the Install CD in my machine ok nothing happens, go in to the folder click on setup, nothing happens. A look in my taskmanager tells me nothing happens, no cpu running for the setup. Ok lets search for the reasons... nothing found some threads in other communitys but i found nothing what can help me. So i try myself, i installed it on a friends laptop and it works without problems you can play.... Ok i catch the install folder of the program also the reg in the windows registry, and try to let it run to my pc. Something happend. After i correct the path of the game in the reg. Eidos Brand played i think it works... the credits on the beginning, ok letīs rock i thought, than i want to start a new game, insert CD1 i put it in and than... nothing happens... the game bring me back to the desktop. hmm ok may registry problems, i changed the dataDrive to my cd drive. nothing happends. I also tried the nv-patch, the non nv-patch. the no-cds, i also try to make an image of my cdīs an try the stuff that you guys tell and mount it, nothing works. I change the settings for my graphic card (antialiasing....) I also check the settings for the game with different settings nothing helped. I tried to install directx 6.1 the CD has no scratches all is nice. But... nothing happens... The data from my friends laptop: windows xp servicepack1 3,2 ghz nvidia card my data: windows xp servicepack2 2,2ghz nvidia ti 4200 8xAGP is the Problem maybee xpsp2 / xpsp1 ? Sorry for my bad english, maybe i'm realy a dump_german_guy from germany, greets to you guys and please help !
