NEED HELP AGAIN

I just got a GameShark2 1.8 from walmart thanx whoever told me that and

DOES ANYONE HAVE A WORKING BACKUP OF NBA STREET AND MADDEN 2002? Is there a patch required for either of them? cuz i have the nba street patch and when i try to patch it, it says "The filesize of the binfile does not match with the filesize of the binfile this PPF-Patch was made of! CONTINUE? why is it saying that

im having exactly the same problem with a JAP game im trying to patch which my mate Charlie lent me to test.

Im still waiting if someone can help me on this one, so if i find anything out ill let you know. The only thing i would say is that because its an EA game you will have to boot it using the EA method. what modchip do you have??

If its an internal mod like the NEO2.2 then check out www.sgt-dan.com for booting methods. I assume you downloaded the EA Patcher and patch from www.eapatcher.com ???

if your using a NEOKEY im not to sure how you boot backups.

I got the 2.2, and I went to sgt-dan.com and didnt really help cuz i tried all of them and sometimes some games worked. Like midnight club and smugglers run worked 3 time out of 10

MY big problem is the sgt-dan.com site says press X to load and X didnt load it R1 + O worked. when i press X nothing happens

I have backed up madden 2002, I use the universal ea patcher to patch all my EA titles, so far i havent had any problems, And you are right , when using gameshark V1.8 it says to press x to boot game but it nothing happens, i press O and L1.

where do you get the universal patcher and do I need to get patches too or does the program do it itself? and what about NBA Street

Go to www.ps2ownz.com and download the universal ea patcher and cdmage v1.2.1.0 bata to use with cdrwin..Here's how to use them...OK say we want to backup SSX, Use cdrwin to make a image file, [ name the file whatever you want] You will now have 2 files a ssx-bin file and a ssx-cue file. Open cdmage and in the options window change the default extraction folder to your ea patcher directory. open the cue file In the image tree box, You should see session 1 / track1[MODE2/2352][SSX]. Double click on track 1, you will now see the image files on the right. Look for the .IMG file it's under a different filename for each game, [in this case it's in the modules folder] Right click on the file IOPRP16.IMG and click extract. Now start ea patcher and go to the extracted file. first leave ea patcher on test and click patch, it should say testmode not patching, pattern found, click ok. uncheck testmode and clich patch. It should say pattern patched. Press ok and go back to cdmage and right click on the file IOPRP16.IMG and click import file, find the patched IOPRP16.IMG file and import it. It should say file imported succesfully. Now in the top left corner press FILE and then SAVE AS . You could name the file SSX 2 [for example] and save it. Dont change anything and click ok. wait for the message, save completed succesfully, and click ok. Close cdmage then open cdrwin, select record disc, load cue sheet and load SSX 2 cue and burn to disc. Its that simple. Let me know how it turns out..Good luck.
