well what i got to say to you is old news!!!
my buddy also got the same problem and i help him with is that first you must check you got the latest driver for you devices like your sound card, Graphics card, ect and that you have enough memory and your cpu is fast or big enough to beat the minimum specs that the game needed to play it .... i KNOW you gonna say you check it all or your computer is good enough but make sure you done it all and try install the DIRECT 9.0c that is also on the CD SINGLES 2 but if it is not helping then SORRY for you ... then!!! TRY to get a PATCH OR UPDATE FOR IT!!!!

A littlebit more informations please !!!
Do you use a crack? Do you get the same error when using the original cd without a crack? Do you have bought the game or downloaded?
