About the editing, 'JBirdAngel' may only want to edit it to take out some scenes that are not 'appropriate' for young children?
I know I have edited some movies, to take out the more violent scenes, so that they are then suitable for my kids to watch.  I know the bible (and its story) should maybe not be edited and if you are teaching your kids the bible etc, some would say that they should be taught it all, but yes some things are not really suitable for the younger kids. They can be taught these things as they get older and can understand it better. Thats just my thoughts.
