Problem with Installation with mounted isos

i got call of duty my fav of all time...prob is my drive is old and has already exploded a couple of music disks.

my brother created 2 iso files cd1 + cd2 but when after mounting image one and install using power iso it always asks me to insert cd2 so always have to cancel the installation.

any ideas ?

Would it not be easier to buy a new DVD-rom, they are like £16ish in the UK for a decent one.

Would save alot of hassles.

Use [Alt]+[Tab] to switch to PowerISO when asked for CD2 and mount the second iso.

crashes at the end of installing is typical old installshield install
the setup.exe expects to still run from the cd it was initially ran from
it should have finished the install by then, so the crash isn't really critical

just read ure forum rule 1

why is it not allowed to discuss my problem ?

i saved hard for the game and i bought it so own it an the license to use it with the key n wanna protect it, last year my soldiers of fortune one of the cds exploded and now cant play it. is that fair ?

I just thought of something, is it possible that computer makers make the drives to fail after a time so that they explode disks and the game makers are paying them to do this ? then us the public have to keep buying games and spending our money !!!

anyways still cant get it to work any1 got any ideas wot i can do

As a native English speaker, you should have no problems with reading and understanding the forum rules (which are in as simple as possible English anyway). Quote: "Do not discuss warez! Do not ask where to download illegal copies of PC/console games or how to make them work. Warez means not having the original CD/DVD, for reasons including but not limited to: [...] having no compatible or properly working CD/DVD drive or having no CD/DVD drive at all."

Thread closed. Buy a new DVD drive.
