Evil Genius 1.1 NoCd problem

Actually the game seems to run just fine but when its shut down the EvilGenius Stub-Release.exe encounters a problem and needs to close Win XP window pops up for some reason even though the game is being shut down anyway. Gives an option of CLOSE and DEBUG with an error signature pointed at the appname EvilGenius Stub-Release.exe.

Does anyone else have this problem running version 1.1 NoCd from GCW with Evil Genius or know what can be done to remedy the situation?
