Confusion Reigns Supreme!

Hello All,

Being quite new to this forum I have noticed there seems to be alot of the same questions asked over and over and over again - which tells me either a) the answer are not very clear and/or b) those asking the questions are not checking for other posts which may provide answers.

Regardless, there appears to be much confusion and conflicting responses to these very same questions, such as:

CAN YOU MAKE BACKUPS OF ORIGINAL DC GAMES?

Many anwer "No, of course not - you can only backup "backups"". Others [dogberto, for example], however, stress that you can indeed make backups of your own original DC games. However, the method for doing this has not been described! Having read Big Papas post - I am still not enlightened! Therefore, my questions are as follows:

1. Can you make backups of original DC games?
2. If so, "but arent DC games much larger than standard CDROM games? How EXACTLY can this be done!?"
3. What do I need to do this? [e.g. software, cables etc.]

Thanks in advance for giving a clear answer to this very elusive issue!
