xbox version
Hello!
I want buy a XBOX. What is the best version? a) v1 b) v1.1 c) v1.2 Thanks a lot!

hmm theyre all not bad

WELL THEY WORK WITH EXISTING 1.1 BIOSES!!!!!!! STANDARD X2L 4973 AND 4974 WORK FINE!!!!!! This is good news!!! i will post pics of the mod, the board, the HDD and everything working fine to prove this when i get home from work (3hrs!). hope this has helped relieve some of you worrying!" the others you know work fine so i'd say it really doesn't matter... it's your call theyre all about the same just slight modifications here and there

~WoMeNlOvEr ... so far ive moddded xboxes with: 2 Matrixes 3 Xbits My xbox!: -250 gig -XBIT -4981.06 x2 -orange led for light, matching beautifully with the orange x in the splash screen -Component cable my problem...solved?!: -one of my friends says he can get about 450 files off it!... and now i havent seen him for about 4 months..and ive written him like 11 emails.. Doing some reading on this new version has brought some interesting things to light.
They have moved some stuff around like the D0 so that a person can’t use The Matrix or pogo pin adapter for the Xecuter2. So I guess its back to soldering the chips in until the design a new Matrix and the Xecutor2 pogo pin adaptor for the ver1.2. I’m thinking this is a shot to cut down on the every day person installing modchips. I bet Microsoft is thinking b/c the person will have to solder the chip will now have to send his XBox out to get modded by some one like Bill and spend even more money, if he cant solder it in him self. Thus making him rethink getting a modchip in the first place. I donno I could be way off here…
