Burning from images with Mitsumi CR4802TE

I've burned a bunch of coasters with Mitsumi CR4802TE when trying to burn from images. Has anyone had luck with this burner with images? If so, with what programs and settings?

I've tried cdi2nero and some others without any luck. CloneCD seems to be working fine though when copying, but its a pain in the ass to loan the games from buddies and then burn them

Is the only solution to sell the Mitsumi and get a real burner?

I have a Mitsumi CR4802TE Drive, and I haven't had a problem yet! Every game works, and I've only had a couple of coasters cause my settings were'nt right. I do agree that it isn't the BEST drive, but It works fine for me....

Ok, Check This Out>>>>>>>>> I have a Mitsumi CR4802TE CD/RW drive. I use Diskjuggler version 2.x (full version)... These are the steps to get a game working with Diskjuggler, and a mitsumi cdrw...........

1.) Obtain a backup copy of a game you already own from the internet

2.) If the files are .rar, or .cdi.. it will more than likely be fine.

3.) Make sure you have ALL the files to the game you are downloading (also make sure they are all the same size-except for the last file), do this by checking the .nfo file or the .sfv file in Notepad.

4.) Unrar, or Unzip all files into a directory.

5.) If the only file that is extracted is a .cdi file, then go to step 6, if not double click on UNPACK... when UNPACK is complete, double click on INJECT.. when all files are injected go to step 6.

6.) Insert a blank (80min 700mb preferably) CD. Start Diskjuggler.

7.) Click File...New

8.) Select CD Image to CD Recorder... Click OK

9.) Under SOURCE click the image of a cd on a piece of paper... Find the .cdi file you extracted and click open.

10.) Now click ADVANCED tab.. Settings are as follows:

Mode: MODE 2 Block: 2352 Offset: 0 TOC: CD-XA

11.) Now click back on the SOURCE & DESTINATION tab.. under ACTION make sure it is on WRITE only. ** verifications will fail.. but does not necessarily mean the disc is bad.

12.) CLICK START (on the diskjuggler program, not the start menu!!!! )

13.) Enjoy

Notes: Every single game I have burnt has worked PERFECT. Everyone always says select CD-DA in the TOC.. DON'T, with the mitsumi burner, I PROMISE your burn will fail. Most games won't need the boot cd, but if it does, either get one, burn one or.. look on here soon, I will be posting the 10 steps to making a game self-booting.

P.S I dont care what other people tell you.. the cd-da thing won't work with this particular burner unless it is a game that requires extracting wavs, and injecting them!) Always use CD-XA.. it works reguardless!

P.S.S If one of you are having too much trouble with the self-boot thing... I am selling a mod-chip.. email me
