Fix for the V9 / 10 syndrome

Hello all,

Not taking credit for this one - full honours go to Kaiser Sozei (partial LA replacement using a BA chip), Gladiator (full LA to BA change) and Romeo (prevention is better than a cure - Pin17 to 5V).
