CD Factories: "Friendly CD-Tek Co." Who are they???
I have some 80min CD-R discs from "Pine Group" and CDR-Indentifier shows this info:
ATIP: 97m 28s 60f Disc Manufacturer: Friendly CD-Tek Co. Reflective layer: Dye (Long strategy; e.g. Cyanine, Azo etc.) Media type: CD-Recordable Recording Speeds: min. unknown - max. unknown nominal Capacity: 702.83MB (79m 59s 74f / LBA: 359849) I have never seen "Friendly CD-Tek Co." before. They aren't on this page either. Does anyone have any info on quality and such? I have a feeling they aren't that great but something more specific would be nice. Also, #####ing my old 74min FujiFilm CD-Rs showed that they're "Tayo Yoden" but it wasn't mentioned in the tables on this page and its reviews that FujiFilm is one of the brands for "Tayo Yoden". Out. |

I've had some of their media. I believe they're a new start-up based in Hong-Kong, with a factory in China.
Their media seems quite good quality (burns well for me on an Acer, Teac and Plextor) and appears very similar to Ritek. Suspiciously similar, in fact
