I have just bought ps2

from usa, but, I live in Israel and the system here is european, the question is, what do I have to do that the ps2 will read, pal, and backups games?

1 Have the USA PS2 mod-chipped to play back-ups

2 Use CDR-WIN to copy your PAL PS2 Games onto hard disk

3 Use PPF-OMATIC to patch the hard disk image

4 Use CDR-WIN to burn the PAL PS2 Game back to CDR

5 For absolute assurance (as I did) buy an NTSC to PAL signal convertor otherwise your games may play B&W on a PAL TV
