Trying to get more then 4 stars on GTA3!!!

Hey guys and girls, im gettin really peed off here coz me and my bro have been playing GTA3 since it came out and theres not a single day that we got over 4 stars (u know where the coppers come after u)

I have even use the cheat for some action but still 4 freakin stars.
I mean i blow every shit up i saw moving but still 4 stars.
We killed civilians, police officers, we blow the cars, buses,trucks ,even shot a rocket at helicopter and shot it down.

so if anyone knows how to get more stars up then just four
it would be very helpful

..... You have to play the missions/jobs to progress to the other islands... . . . once you've advanced to island 2 you'll be able to get the fbi after you.. that's 5 stars.. then island 3 is all stars.. maximum wanted level... the military comes after ya in tanks..
