How do I fix a games exe file so I don't need the CD?

I posted below this but then thought maybe someone could tell me how to fix the game myself. The game I want to fix is called Nicktoons basketball and it has no copy protection, just a cd check. What software do I use and how do I fix the game exe file so I don't need the CD? Thanks in advance.
