Thrill Kill won't boot up on PS2

I tried booting Thrill Kill on my modded PS2 and it won't boot at all. Anybody else have this problem? Is there a patch for this? It works great on my PSX though.

Later,

Jase

i`ve had the same problem with some games
and it all comes down to this:

the ps2/###ne #####s region data on the disc so
when your in europe ntsc games won`t boot
they have the original ntsc boot screen
(black screen with ps logo)

use ###nefull.ppf and apply it and your copy
should work

try this should work too

boot ps2 with ar disc 2 holding reset (ea method)

press X on start game

press X on without codes

release reset

cd tray comes out and will go back in in 4 secs

press eject

swap ar cd 2 for backup

press eject

press X

i`ve tested this with metal slug X japanese version with the PDX boot edited license screen
on a modded p2 with ar 1.3

the same game fails on an ###ne with multimode
chip

but works pefectly on an old 1002 model
