mod.dll? Seems to be Battlefield 1942, last expansionpack, and yes, it uses Safedisc ( like every EA title)
Respecting SF ( Starforce), well, every game have its own code, so must be restored in different ways for every SF protected title. Thats what it last a lot to be released. Anyway, thats is fun for some people ( including me). I think that will be solved soon. Good luck!
