SecuROM 7 protected games - am I out of luck?

SecuROM 7 protected games use RMPS, correct? So, Alcohol 120% should make 2 files - MDS, MDF. Right?

Well, if someone burns the MDF file on a DVD without using the MDS file then the DVD won't work even with emulations running and etc, right?

However, if I am to make an image of that DVD to MDF and then RE-burn it WITH that MDS file - will it work? Or will I need the original MDF file with the MDS file?

Well, you can get good DPM (mds files) at certain sites, e.g. copybase.ch or i guess cdfreaks.com
Try using them instead of the one Alcohol120 makes
I used some of 'em for SF3 games, worked pretty well. but since i try to avoid SF games i dunno much about such pages that offer good DPM files

Well... This smells like warez-talk once again.
If you have got the original, create your own dpm-data.

If you don´t and someone gave a backup to you, this is not legal and shouldn´t be supported by anyone else.
... and if your game-disc has been lost/broken/scratched/dog eaten contact the publisher...

Grx.

So, there is no need for nocd cracks! Maybe I just care about the theory of whether what I said works, rather than a particular game that I want to play?

1 question for you: what does it mean "the ORIGINAL mdf file"????
I hope you didn't mean the downloaded mdf, otherwise you'll get no support here.
Anyway, I am also a big fan of Paffendorf, hope you'll understand what I mean
